FEAR in our pets is exhibited by ANXIETY. Anxiety limits quality of life and can lead to behavioral problems. Anxiety is UNFAIR and can helped!

    

     Signs of Anxiety: DOG

Dropped or tucked tail

Ears laid back

Hair raised on back

Head & neck lowered

“Sideways” gaze at fearful target

Urination, defecation, anal sac expression

Lip retraction

Growling

Backing into corner & hiding

Destruction

Drooling

Panting

Yawning, licking

Pacing

Whining

 

     Signs of Anxiety: CAT

Ears back

Tucked tail

Hiding

Growling & Vocalizing

Biting

Scratching

Urination, defecation, anal sac expression

     

      There are many reasons for anxiety in our pets including but not limited to: storms or sound anxiety, separation anxiety, situational anxiety and motion anxiety.
