Welcome to Animal Medical Center! We are a full service companion animal veterinary facility dedicated to providing friendly, helpful and compassionate services to you and your pet.

Our doctors and staff take pride in running a facility where you and your pet will feel comfortable. You can enjoy a clean, peaceful veterinary experience from the minute you walk through our doors. We are committed to maintaining well patients, helping those that need help, and offering advice on nutrition, allergies, behavior, and other medical, dental and surgical conditions.

We are excited to offer up-to-date medical care, help you understand medical recommendations for your pet, and keep you informed while your pet is receiving treatment. We know you love your pets very much and want to do what is best for them!

We are pleased to offer each owner their own Pet Portal! With this feature, you can access your pets' vaccination and health records from anywhere! Make sure we have your email address and you and your pets will be automatically enrolled.

  • Catherine Carlson, DVM

    Welcome! Welcome! Welcome our new doctor: Dr. Carlson!

    Dr. Carlson grew up in northeast Ohio, where she spent her time riding and showing hunter-jumper horses. She obtained her first job as a veterinary assistant in a small animal emergency clinic when she was eighteen years old and continued to work as an assistant through college and veterinary school. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from The College of Wooster in 2002 and with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The Ohio State in 2006.

    After graduation, Dr. Carlson worked as an equine-exclusive veterinarian before transitioning to small animal medicine. She moved to Arizona in 2007. Dr. Carlson lives on a small farm with 9 horses, a steer, a pot-bellied pig, three cats and two dogs. In her free time, she enjoys riding and showing Dressage. Dr. Carlson enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but she is especially fond of surgery and internal medicine.

  • Katheryne Kasper, DVM


    Dr. Kasper grew up in Casa Grande, Arizona where she started working in a veterinary hospital when she was sixteen years old. She has continued working in and around the veterinary medical profession since. Dr. Kasper graduated from Northern Arizona University in December 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry. She then went on to graduate from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. She worked as an associate veterinarian for the next two years in Casa Grande, Arizona. In April of 2009 to June of 2011 she managed a veterinary practice in Mesa, Arizona. In June of 2011 she and her husband opened their own veterinary practice in Casa Grande.

    Dr. Kasper has a passion for preventative medicine, the human-animal bond, geriatric, and neonatal care.  She shares her home with her husband, Kelly, her sons Kelly & Kolten, Nelli (Labrador Retriever), Tory (kitty) & Max (kitty). You will find her hard-working, compassionate, and a friendly veterinarian that always puts her clients and patients’ first.

    Tracy is the Hospital Manager here at Animal Medical Center. She has been working in the veterinary industry for 20 years and is looking forward to meeting you and caring for your pets. In her free time, she enjoys playing in the mountains or the sand dunes with her husband and their two children. Her pets Valentine & Cookie her dogs, and Zuri her cat always love to play in the sun with them too!

  • Mikaiela

    Mikaiela is a veterinary assistant here at Animal Medical Center. She graduated high school in 2015 with a certificate in veterinary assisting. Her love for animals grows more and more each day. She has 3 dogs and 2 cats. During her free time she watches Netflix and spends time with her loved ones. She enjoys camping, boating and riding her quad throughout the year.

  • Helen

    Helen is a CSR here at Animal Medical Center. She was born and raised in Texas but moved to Maricopa, AZ in 2014 to be closer to her family. She graduated from Sequoia Pathway in 2015 and completed the CAVIT Program with her Veterinary Assistant Certification in 2017. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family & friends, shooting, camping and riding her donkey.

    Trish is a Veterinary Assistant here at Animal Medical Center. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2016 with a Veterinary Assistant certificate. Born in Kansas, she moved to Arizona in 1999. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her son and cat. She also enjoys hiking, reading, and watching Netflix.

    Jackie is a CSR here at Animal Medical Center. She moved to Casa Grande in 2011 from Willcox, AZ and graduated from Casa Grande Union High School with the class of 2018. She has one dog and one chicken who she loves very much. In her free-time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching Netflix, and traveling.

  • Kelly

    Kelly graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2002 with a degree in Business Management. He and Dr. Kasper opened Animal Medical Center in late June 2011. Kelly performs accounting services for the hospital. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, hiking and camping.
